Francine Gasasira is a fourth-year student at the University of Toronto Scarborough pursuing a double major in Population Health and Mental Health Studies. Francine is deeply passionate about addressing health inequities by building stronger communities and connecting people to the resources they need to thrive. Her focus is on promoting health in marginalized communities and fostering a society where everyone has the opportunity to live well. Originally from Uganda, Francine carries a strong commitment to making a positive impact both here in Canada and back home. In her free time she enjoys watching inspirational movies, taking walks and playing tennis.
